Your departure time will be early enough to take advantage of this unique experience. For your comfort we will provide a cooler with water, yogurt, healthy cookies and more.

At the border you need your actual passport. The passport needs to be valid for the next six months. You also need to have a copy of your flight itinerary for customs at both borders.

Once we pass customs, be ready for a great breakfast to start the adventure. During your visit to Nicaragua, you will be taken to the Active Masaya Volcano and visit the beautiful museum at the foot of the Volcano. Once at the crater of Masaya Volcano you will be able to look into the heart of the magnificent volcano. The staying time at the crater, is just about 15 minutes. Due the strong activity of gas coming out of it. We will then drive you thought the town of Masaya Town, where we will make a few stops for pictures of Churches and other interesting sites.

The best part is still to come – when we visit Granada City where you will be amazed by this beautiful city. The City of Granada was founded in 1524 and is one of the oldest cities in Central America. At this marvelous city, you will have about 2.5 hrs for lunch and free time to explore the incredible churches and the magnificent beauty of the city.

There will be time for shopping, after we leave Granada, when we arrive at the lookout dormant Volcano of Catarina. This is a great stop for shopping and clean restrooms just before we start out trip back to Costa Rica.
